There are many software to recover deleted files on a USB key. I personally use Ease US Data Recovery Services Wizard which is ultra versatile and can recover data from all media such as hard drives, USB keys, memory cards, SD cards, Compact Flash cards and works on both Windows and MAC.
Launch the installation of the software, taking care not to install it on the same medium as the one where you want to recover your data. Once installed, launch the software. It will automatically scan your system and offer you the different media available for analysis.
Media scan by Ease US Data Recovery takes some time to perform a very deep scan of all data blocks. At the bottom you will find a progress bar. The different panels indicate the Wikipedia data found and recoverable with all their tree structure. I then just have to select the folders and/or files and start the recovery.
